SHARE, Self Help and Resource Exchange, is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of projects at their urban farm in North Philadelphia.  Volunteer work would include care taking of vegetable and perennial gardens, seed propagation and other projects such as the construction of a second hoop house, and a rain water catchment system for the roof of their warehouse.

About SHARE: SHARE is a 501c3 charitable organization that has been helping increase access to affordable food in the Philadelphia area for 24 years.  In addition to the urban farm, SHARE runs a food program which supplies low cost food packages, and also supplies some 500 food cupboards with emergency food aid.  SHARE also welcomes volunteers who are interested in helping with food packages.

If any students are interested in volunteering at SHARE, please contact Bill Schick at bshick@sharefoodprogram.org.
